Eric Thompson is the Vice President of Development of McKinley Solutions Exchange in the Montreal office. His prime responsibilities with McKinley include content and program development.

Eric has over 25 years of experience in traditional academic settings where in addition to his administrative and management responsibilities, he developed and delivered 15 technical and professional courses. His field of expertise is natural resource management and it was here that he acquired his interest and background in experience based education and learning in outdoor environments.

In the corporate sector, where he has worked since 1996, he has built and facilitated experience-based corporate training activities and programs to develop and enhance skills in communication and relationship-building, teamwork , leadership and problem-solving; these programs were delivered in both Canada and Europe to a multinational clientele.

Eric has undergraduate and graduate degrees from McGill, certificates in outdoor and post secondary education and is currently enrolled in graduate studies in educational technology at Concordia University. He is an active member of the International Society for Performance Improvement (Montreal Chapter) and the Association for Experiential Education.
