Building on a successful pilot project launched in the Spring 2004 to support the need for leadership and team building in the Canadian Golf Club Management Industry, McKinley launched a first of its kind Canadian golf industry research initiative. The research project is designed to collect data and develop performance improvement programs that address the specific needs and challenges of golf clubs in Canada.

Among the values shared by the McKinley team are innovation and continuous improvement. There was an opportunity to put these values into practice when McKinley received a request from two graduate students, Melissa Mercuri and Rasha Nasra, in the Education Technology Department of Concordia University to collaborate in a research project as part of the course work for their Masters program.

Melissa and Rasha joined the McKinley team as research associates and worked with rest of the team to bring renewed research vigor and testing to McKinley’s initiative with the Canadian Club industry.
