McKinley Solutions was invited by the CSAE Trillium Chapter to deliver a one- day seminar on Team Development and Leadership. The focus of the day was to inspire and motivate association leaders to work more effectively together and look at their leadership abilities in a new way. The experiential-based session was well very much appreciated and well received. Participants felt they left with some great “take-aways” that could help them in their day-to-day environment.

Mark Thompson, Managing Principal of the McKinley Toronto Office and Ironman Triathlete, delivered a keynote address on leadership to the senior managers of a major natural company with a mainly unionized work force. Drawing on his discipline and training as a finisher IRONMAN USA and team development expert, Mark delivered his message about the new paradigm of fusion leadership to a very receptive audience.

McKinley Solutions participated in a plenary session of the professional development committee meeting at the annual National conference in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Building on a pilot program research, which supported McKinley Team Management Golf Seminars conducted for the golf industry, McKinley proposed a larger initiative to the CSCM. In 2005 the CSCM Executive accepted the proposal to partner and expand the research program to a national level and include the entire Canadian club industry.
