Mark Thompson delivered a Canadian Management Institute (CMI) certified course to attendees at the Canadian Society of Club Managers (CSCM) National Conference in Winnipeg. Become an Employer of Choice was tailored to address the needs of the Canadian Club Industry.
The four part course explored the following topics:

- Beyond the Hire – Getting the Right Players in the Right Seats
- Pride Matters – Building Customer Service Excellence
- Become an Employer of Choice – Building a Supportive Organization Culture
Those completing the course and passing a final exam received credits toward a certificate in management.
