Millennials want to bring change to the workplace and some of the changes they would like to see will benefit everyone.
This is a generation focused on productivity and efficiency, even when it comes to meetings. While meetings are important, its rare that they should take more than 30 minutes – drawn out meetings put a halt to productivity and stifle creativity.
Gen Y is obsessed with career development, understand the importance of great mentors and will seek them out. For many of this generation, mentoring works both up and down – while they learn from the experience of their seniors, they will teach older workers how to use the latest technologies and the importance of online communities.
Sure, Millennials will bring about change but many of the changes they will bring have been needed for some time.
